Virginia L. Foulke

Virginia L. Foulke, 93, of Asbury Towers in Greencastle and formerly of Center Point, passed away at Putnam County Hospital on Friday, May 23, 2014.

She was born May 4, 1921 in Clay County, the daughter of Hervey and Arlona (Cooprider) Loudermilk.

Virginia graduated from Ashboro High School

Virginia owned and operated Moon's Package Drug Store for several years. She also worked at I-70 Truck Stop and the LK Restaurant as a waitress.

She moved to Greencastle in 2003 and had been living in Asbury Towers since 2012.

Virginia was a member of the Hanna Street Baptist Church, she had been a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Center Point and most recently the Greencastle Chapter for more than 50 years.

She especially enjoyed spending time working outside and mowing her lawn.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Eldon Lowdermilk.

Virginia is survived by her son, Larry Foulke and wife Judy of Cloverdale; grandchildren Larry Steven and wife Ceann Foulke of Brazil, Tresa Botzum and husband Doug of Cloverdale, Tara Foulke of Brazil and Jeremy Foulke and fiancé Sarah of Speedway; great-grandchildren Joshua Foulke, Jeffrey Foulke, Brent Keene and wife Leandra, Samantha Foulke, Brianne Botzum, Brittan Botzum and Blake Botzum; great-grandson Keaton Keene; sister Wanda Boyce and husband Bob of Brazil; sister-in-law Norma Lowdermilk of Brazil; and niece Rita Whitehead of Knightsville.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 28 at Center Point Cemetery in Clay County with Bro. Patrick Smith officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Brown Cemetery Association.
