Women's Auxiliary Donates to PCH

The VFW Women's Auxiliary Post 1550 hosted its second annual Cancer Awareness Fundraiser on April 11 to raise money for the Putnam County Cancer Center. A total of $3,500 was raised during the event, which will go toward helping cancer patients that may not have funding and are in need of help. Present for the check donation were (from left) Phyllis Hamilton, Kelly Knoblett, Rachel Hopkins, PCH Cancer Center Manager Becky Hutcheson, Darla Hopkins and Vicky Chaplain. Participating in the fundraiser were the VFW men, VFW Men's Auxiliary, Pingleton Sawmill, Almost Home, Fairway Restaurant, Jackson's Double Decker Restaurant, Soapy Joe's Car Wash, Myers Market, Creative Touch Hair Salon, Casa Grande Restaurant, Goody's, Fiesta Hair Salon, Humphrey's, Mama Nunz Restaurant, Papa John's, Headley Hardware, Muffler Connection, York Chrysler, Furniture Aware House, Inn at Depauw, E A & J Cantonwine Farms, Greencastle Physical Therapy, Mane Attractions Beauty Shop, Putnam Inn, Butler's LP Gas, Shelbyville Grand Casino, Moore's Bar, Old National Bank, State Farm Insurance- Therese Cunningham, Greencastle Vet Clinic, Cloverdale Agri, Silver Bell Flowers, Summer Breeze Tanning, Greencastle Mooose and several individuals who wished to remain anonymous.
