Helen Virginia Boller, 86, New Winchester, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014

A mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, Helen was the matriarch of the Lanham-Boller family. Her stern and caring love was shone throughout her life with her family. From working in the fields with Dad and Sunday dinners with all her family to ice cream cones for her grandchildren, she loved and was loved.

Helen was born in Boone County on April 1, 1928, the daughter of George and Mable Copeland Lanham. She married Paul W. "Bill" Boller on Dec. 22, 1947 and he preceded her in death on June 29, 2013.

Helen is survived by her children Billie (Steve) Hendricks of Danville, John Boller of Coatesville, Don (Lynn) Boller of Coatesville, Jacqueline Woodrum of Roachdale and Carol (Bill) Boyer of Lizton; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great great- grandchild. She is also survived by her youngest sister, Mable Sue (Steve) Morrison of Pflugerville, Texas.

She was preceded by her husband, parents, one sister, and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 6 at the Bousley-Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville, with burial to follow in the New Winchester Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.

There will be a dinner immediately following the burial at the Boller farm in New Winchester.
