Geneva May Bock

Geneva May Bock, devoted mother, 82, of Roachdale, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis on Monday, June 2, 2014.

She was born on Nov. 9, 1931 to Floyd Dean and Mary Gibson Dean in Danville, Ill.

She was a member of the Roachdale Christian Church. She graduated from Roachdale High School in 1949 and was valedictorian. For many years she volunteered at North Putnam High School and was a Girl Scout Leader. She worked at several places including Wabash College, Wilson Brothers Greenhouse and Raybestos.

She married William R. Bock at the Brick Chapel Methodist Church on May 27, 1955 and he survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Robert (Wynne) Bock of Lyford and Steven Bock of Knoxville, Iowa; daughter Mary (Anne Aronson) Bock of Minneapolis; two grandchildren, Sarah (Drew) Baillie of Boston and Max Bock-Aronson of Madison, Wis.; and one great-grandson, James Baillie.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home at 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale. Visitation will be from noon to time of service on Thursday. Rev. Danny Caulkins will officiate and burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery.
