Barbara Carrington

Barbara A. Carrington, 60, of Greencastle, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014.

Born Nov. 27, 1953 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Donald and Rosemary (Thomas) Carrington.

Barbara was a 1972 graduate of Greencastle High School and received her nursing degree from Indiana State University in 1980. She received her OBGYN practitioner license from Planned Parenthood in 1987.

Barbara had worked at Heartland Automotive for several years as a color technician. She had previously practiced nursing for several years.

She is survived by her brother, Kris (Leigh Anne) Carrington; sisters Kathy (Mark) Green and Lynn Bridges; nieces and nephews Shauna Sims, Stephan Bridges, Jessica Green, Bethany Allen, Lucas Green and Kristin Carrington; and aunt Doris Scobee.

Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, is assisting with arrangements, Barbara had requested no services.
