Tilmon 'T.J.' Ford Jr.

Tilmon (T.J.) Ford Jr., 70, Russellville, passed away Sunday evening, June 15, 2014 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, after a short illness.

He was born Nov. 21, 1943 at Center, Ark., to Tilmon H. and Iva Elizabeth Goodman Ford.

He attended school at Marianna, Ark.

He was a member of the Family of God Church in Roachdale.

For many years he was a truck driver and owner operator. Lately he was a dozer operator for Boller Excavating.

On May 2, 1970 he married Bonnie J. Webb at Lizton, and she survives.

Other survivors include one son, Paul David Ford of Lancaster, Texas; four daughters, Sheila Renee Soliday and husband James of Arlington, Texas, Lisa Webb Curtis and husband Todd, Debra Boller and husband Duane, and Kimberly Ann Hall and husband Chris, all of Russellville; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers Ernest Roy Ford and wife Veta, and Harley (Bo) Wayne Ford and wife Elva; sisters Anna Gene Bollard and husband Buddy, Betty Jane Hughes and husband Alan, Sharon Lee Whitaker and husband Keith, and Alice Dean Rowe and husband Rodney; sister-in-law Jana Ford and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers James David, Larry and Teddy Ford.

Funeral services are planned for 10 a.m. Friday at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Alan Hughes and Randy Glenn will officiate with burial at Roachdale Cemetery.
