June 21 bingo event hosted by North Putnam Alumni Assn.

ROACHDALE -- The North Putnam Alumni Association will host a Bingo Night on Saturday, June 21 at the Roachdale Fire Station, located at 202 N. Indiana St., Roachdale.

The event is scheduled for 7--10 p.m.

Cost to participate is $20 to play 20 games, and the payout will be based on the number of participants playing.

It is a licensed event, and those playing must be at least 21 years of age.

Capt. Baugh Memorial Blood Drive set for June 27 at GCC

The seventh annual Capt. Jim Baugh Memorial Blood Drive is scheduled for Friday, June 27 at the Greencastle Christian Church from 1-6 p.m.

The event is co-sponsored by the Baugh family and the Putnam County Fraternal Order of Police.

The event is also affiliated with the statewide "Indiana Fallen Officer Blood Drive."

Those who choose to participate this year, will also be given a free T-shirt.
