The Cloverdale Middle School Student Council recently held a year-end celebration cookout at the Nature Trail. Robert Smith, husband of council co-sponsor Susan Smith, cooked hamburgers and hot dogs for the council members, Principal Stacey Baugh and Superintendent Carrie Milner. The council had a successful year this year, sponsoring two school dances along with the Pennies for Patients fundraising campaign, which benefits leukemia and lymphoma cancer research. The councils celebration also included "Clover Power Hour," where a fun morning of bounce activities and Wii game systems was set up in the gym by Mrs. Moore for the entire middle school to participate. The student council will be looking forward to another successful year with a leadership conference planned for August, student activities and more.
