'Reparation' to shoot scenes during Farmers Market

Friday, June 27, 2014

Reparation Films has announced that the cast and crew of "Reparation" will be filming scenes at the Greencastle Farmers Market on the north side of the courthouse square Saturday, June 28.

The producers ask residents interested in participating to wear clothing that does not contain trademarked or copyrighted emblems, logos or phrases during the 8 a.m. to noon filming period.

Production assistants will be at each entrance to the market to answer any questions.

The producers also ask that participants do not look directly at the camera or acknowledge the crew and actors while the camera is rolling.

"Reparation" is a psychological thriller about a veteran turned vegetable farmer whose past comes back to haunt him.

After a successful Kickstarter campaign that raised more than $66,000, filming in Putnam County is well under way and included scenes Thursday and Friday at Roachdale.

The film stars Jon Huertas ("Castle," "Generation Kill"), Marc Menchaca ("Homeland," Generation Kill") and Virginia Newcomb ("Bandmates," "Union"), along with local actors Amy Gaither Hayes and Gigi Fenlon.

"Reparation" was written by DePauw University Professor Steve Timm and Kyle Ham (a 1994 DePauw alum). Ham also directs.
