Cardell Farley Sr.

Cardell Farley Sr., 81, of Poland, passed away Friday, June 27. 2014.

He was born Sept. 3, 1932 in Ages, Ky., to Oscar and Viola (Boggs) Farley.

On Feb. 2, 1971 he married Rochelle Marlett.

He worked as a forklift driver at General Motors for more than 30 years before retiring in 1996.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his wife Rochelle; three sons, Cardell (Vicky) Farley Jr., Ricky (Rita) Farley and Larry Gene (Gloria) Farley Sr.; a daughter, Lula Ann (Dennis) Patterson; four stepsons, Mike Gillham, Wayne Thomas, Bill Thomas and John Thomas; three stepdaughters, Pat Perryman, Cindy Gillham and Donna Massey; a brother, Earl Farley, and 138 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 3 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143.
