Bake sale fundraiser Saturday at Life Builder Church for White family

A community bake sale is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16 at the Life Builder Church Community Building (in the old Hopkins-Rector building at the corner of Washington and Arlington) in Greencastle.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to offset costs related to the tragic loss of five-year-old Austin White, the son of Steven and Stephannie White of Greencastle, who died Aug. 1 as a result of the disease Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD).

Individuals or organizations that would like to donate baked goods for the fundraiser are asked to drop them off by 9:30 a.m. at the church community building. Baked goods should be individually wrapped. Whole cakes and pies are welcome as well.
