Carol L. Shrader

Carol L. Shrader, 71, of Cataract, went to be with The Lord on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014.

Carol was born Aug. 30, 1942 in Owen County to Clarence McCormick and Marian Small McCormick.

Her memory will be cherished by sons Jerry Allen Shrader II and wife Donna of North Carolina, Rev. Matthew W. Shrader and wife Jodi of Paoli, James M. Shrader and Yuko of Japan, and Rev. Jonathan C. Shrader and wife Karen of Brazil; sisters Marilyn Scott and Phyllis McCormick; aunt Vivian Fowler; and her grandchildren, Jeremy, Chris, Michael, Daniel, Nicholas, Christiane, Morgen and Luna and many nieces and nephews.

She is reunited in the presence of our Heavenly Father with both parents and nephew, Terry Carpenter.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23 at Cataract Missionary Baptist Church. The service will be officiated by Carol's friend, Pastor Jerry Huber.
