New provider joins Putnam Pediatrics and Internal Medicine

Putnam Pediatrics and Internal Medicine has announced that Andrea Baysinger, family nurse practitioner, has joined their practice and is now seeing patients.

Putnam Pediatrics and Internal Medicine (PPIM) is located inside Putnam County Hospital (PCH). Baysinger will be joining Drs. Lisa Martin, MD, and Mahesh Sreedasyam, MD, and Cathy Clodfelter, family nurse practitioner.

"I am happy to announce that we are able to expand our team to include Andrea Baysinger," Dr. Lisa Martin of PPIM said. "Andrea brings new experience in diabetes education that we look forward to adding to our line of service in the office. She also will be a great asset in allowing us to offer more same-day appointments for our patients."

Baysinger's background in healthcare spans a 23-year career as a registered nurse and is a 2014 graduate of Indiana State University's Advanced Practice Nursing program. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a family nurse practitioner.

Her background includes an interest in health promotion and disease prevention as well as chronic disease management, including a passion for diabetes education.

"I'm excited to have the opportunity to serve as a family nurse practitioner at Putnam Pediatrics and Internal Medicine and look forward to working alongside a great team of healthcare providers that are serving the needs of the community," she said.

Putnam Pediatrics and Internal Medicine is a primary care, family medicine practice providing comprehensive healthcare services.
