City sets First Ward public meeting for Thursday

The City of Greencastle has slated a neighborhood meeting for the city's First Ward residents this Thursday, Aug. 28 at the Greencastle Fire Station, 107 S. Indiana St.

The public meeting, scheduled for members of the city's First Ward to receive information and voice concerns about their area of the city, is set to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Police Chief Tom Sutherlin will be on hand to talk about the Neighborhood Watch program.

Adam Cohen is the First Ward representative to the City Council.

First Ward essentially covers most of Greencastle's west side, west of College Avenue on the north side of town and west of Locust Street on the south, including the DePauw University campus.
