LAFAYETTE--After a week of practicing in rain and high temperatures above 90 degrees the Tiger Cub Cross Country teams competed in cooler temperatures and no rain at the McCutcheon Stampede Cross Country Invitational Saturday.

The girls' team finished second to a very strong Lafayette Harrison team while the boys had to settle for fifth place while running against equally strong Lafayette Jefferson, Kankakee Valley, Lafayette Harrison and McCutcheon.
