Phelps reunion to be held Sept. 14

The annual (John Franklin) PHELPS reunion will be held Sunday, Sept. 14 from noon-4 p.m. at the Red Bud Hill Reception Hall.

Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish, utensil service, stories, pictures and memories to be shared. If you wish to have family pictures taken during the event, participants are asked to bring their camears.

There will also be a donation box avaliable for next years rental fees.

There are a lot of PHELPS families with different origins, different stories and memories to be shared. Even if you are not related to the above, but would like to attend please come and share stories.

We would like to know and share stories with other Phelps families no matter from where you came.

You are welcome and we would be happy to have other involved. Dinner will be served at 1 p.m.

Red Bud Hill Reception Hall is located a mile-and-a-half east of Rockville on U.S. 36.

  • Looking for a relative - Elizabeth (Martn) Phelps.

    My name is Joe Martin. I am trying to get some ancestry information for myself and Marvin Knauer, my 2nd cousin. His grandmother's name: Hazel Ellen Phelps born 4 Feb 1908 died 15 Apr 2002. Hazel's Husband was William J Knauer. Hazel's mother's name Elizabeth (Martin) Phelps and her husband was Nathan M Phelps.

    We are trying to get more information on Elizabeth Phelps. Are you a related or know who might be related? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you, Joe Martin
