Betty Sue Brummett

Betty Sue Brummett, 71, Greencastle, formerly of Cloverdale, passed away on Monday, Sept. 15 at Hendricks Regional Health, Danville.

She was born on July 13, 1943 in Indianapolis, and was the daughter of the late Freda K. Haltom and Renos Haltom.

She is survived by her children, Beth A. Brummett, Cloverdale, and Doug Brummett, Greencastle; her sisters, Judie Gove, Noblesville, Vicki Albietz, Cloverdale, and Debra Gruener and husband Bill, Cloverdale; her brother, Rob Haltom and wife Angie, Quincy, and six grandchildren.

She was a member of the Millgrove Methodist Church.

She had served as a school bus driver for the Cloverdale Community Schools, a bookkeeper at the Indiana State Farm, Putnamville, and was a self proprietor for Brummett's Trash.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19.
