Free Dental Friday

With the help of dental assistant Angie Pelfrey, Dr. Dennis Knuth works on one of the 53 patients who visited his Hometown Dental office Friday at 1113 Indianapolis Rd., Greencastle. For the second year, Dr. Knuth and his staff offered Free Dental Friday for adults who need dental care but believe they cannot afford it. Overall, Dr. Knuth and his staff did 25 extractions, placed 14 fillings and completed 21 cleanings Friday. In seeing more than 50 patients during the first-come, first-served event for the second straight year, Dr. Knuth noted that the first person was sitting outside his door in a lawnchair at 5:30 a.m.
