Mike Hanlon

The public is invited to join the Greencastle Police Department as it says goodbye to veteran Police Officer Capt. Mike Hanlon, who is retiring after more than 30 years of service to the department and the community.

"Please come out and thank Capt. Mike Hanlon for his service as he leaves the Greencastle Police Department and starts a new adventure in life," Greencastle Police Chief Tom Sutherlin urged.

The retirement party is scheduled for 3-5 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 24 at City Hall.

Refreshments will be served.
