GHS basketball fundraiser a team effort

To the Editor:

Recently the Greencastle basketball program hosted a fundraiser dinner at GHS.

We would like to thank all of the people who were kind enough to attend.

We want to thank Gail Smith and her staff at Almost Home for help organizing and preparing the food; Deb Carrico and her staff at the high school cafeteria; and all the mothers and grandmothers who worked tirelessly on the desserts. Thank you!

We also want to thank the BannerGraphic for publicizing the event as well as O'Reilly's for allowing our kids to hold a car wash at their facility, which was a great team-building day with a great turnout.

Our kids have been working tirelessly and can't wait for our season to begin.

Also we want to send out a big thank you to our players who served the dinner and for representing our program.

We can't wait to see you in McAnally Center.
