Jerry Allen Chestnut

Jerry Allen Chestnut, 42, passed away at 8:56 am on September 24, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes.

Jerry was born on Sept. 13, 1972, the son of Carl David and Gillis (Henzman) Chestnut.

Jerry loved to fish with his daughters. He enjoyed playing pool, riding motorcycles and working on cars and anything mechanical. He was a coal miner and welder at one time as well.

Survivors include his mother Gillis Henzman of Vincennes, daughters Samantha and Alisa Chestnut of Vincennes, brother Gary David Chestnut of Vincennes, half sister Bonnie Hanlon of Greencastle and niece Raven Chestnut of Vincennes.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, sister Rebeccka Ann Chestnut and uncle Gerald McNabb.

There will be a private funeral service held for Jerry at a later date with Pastor Seth Alexander officiating.
