Richard L. Snider, age 46, of Kingman, passed away at 1:20 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Crawfordsville.

He was born in Greencastle on Dec. 11, 1967 to Richard Snider and Amanda Ann (Cox) Alexander.

Richard graduated from Greencastle High School and married Tracey (Serepin) Snider on Nov. 18, 1995 in Greencastle.

He was a scrap truck driver for Harrison Steel in Attica for the last eight years.

He enjoyed fishing, raising livestock, collecting old antique International tractors, going to the sale barn, attending auctions, and loved spending time with his brothers, family and his children.

He had a great sense of humor, was a comedian, loved to embarrass his children, was a great storyteller and he never met a stranger.

He is survived by his wife, Tracey Snider and their three children, Jordan, Megyn and Jeremiah, all of Kingman; his parents, Richard Snider and Amanda Alexander, both of Greencastle; three brothers, Jim (Lisa) Bailey of Hillsboro, David (Melissa) Snider of Greencastle, and Daniel Snider of Hawaii; a sister, Amanda Imahausen of Greencastle; a sister-in-law, Tammy (Max) Melton of Kingman; a brother-in-law, Aden (Gina) Serepin of Veedersburg; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother and his grandparents.

Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2 at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S. First St., Kingman.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3 at the funeral home with Celebrant Dennis Horn officiating. Cremation will follow.
