Imagination Portal logo competition

The Putnam County Public Library has announced an Imagination Portal Logo Contest.

The Imagination Portal is the name for the renovated Youth Services room at PCPL, and it needs a logo.

The contest is open to young people up to age 19. Painters, digital artists and collage masters alike are encouraged to use their imagination to create a unique masterpiece.

Contest guidelines are:

-- Participants must live in Putnam County to be eligible to win.

-- Participants can work individually or in a group.

-- Designs must include "Imagination Portal"

-- Designs can be created electronically,- or by traditional methods, but 3-D logos will not be accepted.

-- Original artwork only; no copyrighted material, images, etc. may be used.

-- Each piece of artwork needs to be labeled on the back with name, age and contact information.

One grand prize winner will be awarded. Their artwork will be used on bags and other Imagination Portal materials. The winner will receive a free book and fame.

Runners-up (second and third place) will have their art displayed on bookmarks.

Physical artwork should be submitted to the Youth Services Department or email digital artwork to mbeaumont@pcpl21.org no later than Oct. 15.
