Autumn Ambiance

Decorating the Putnam County Courthouse Square in celebration of fall and upcoming activities like First Friday, Old Gold Weekend and the like, Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center executive assistant and Main Street Greencastle volunteer Tami Van Rensselaer attaches black-and-gold bows to the cornstalks already fashioned to downtown light poles. Special activities in October will also include the Oct. 31 Halloween on the Square, an event that will expand from the annual downtown trick-or-treat effort and trunk-and-treat with emergency services personnel to include a costume parade, pumpkin-decorating party and more.
