100 Women Who Care

Tuesday, October 7, 2014

One Hundred Women Who Care recently donated $11,300 to the Humane Society of Putnam County. Present for the donation were Betty Bruner and her dog, Ann Clark, Maureen Wagner, Anastasia Wells, Amy Welch, Sandi Rossok, Ellie Ypma, Sandra Grimes, Julie Thompson, Della Eastep, Jinsie Bingham, Bonnie Nealon, Rebecca Givas, Lola Hutson, Mary Webster, Susan Price, Sharyl Berry, Kelli Croan, Elaine Peck, Lynn Thompson and Jenny Sullivan. The donation will be going toward a community learning center in the shelter, which will be used for adoption events, a pet food pantry, obedience training, pet micro-chipping as well as talks on local wildlife. The donation will also be used to support the shelters spay/neuter program. All donations for the Humane Society of Putnam County stay inside the county. HSPC does not give money to the Humane Society of the United States and its board members and store volunteers are not paid for their efforts.

  • How long will it be before a group of men in Putnam County start "One Hundred Men Who Care"?
