Friends of Park selling Butter Braids as fall fundraiser

Friday, October 10, 2014

The Greencastle Friends of the Park Association will be selling Butter Braids, a fruit-filled or cream-filled pastry, as a fall fundraiser to help support youth programming.

The pastry item is unique as a frozen product ready to be baked for the enjoyment of homemade freshness.

Each Butter Braid pastry is a hand-braided treat filled with a choice of nine delicious flavors, bavarian creme, apple, cherry, cinnamon, cream cheese, raspberry, strawberry creme and a new flavor this season,

double chocolate.

Ordering Butter Braids from Oct. 7-27 will allow items to arrive in time for family get-togethers at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The Butter Braid flavors are $13 each. The new double chocolate is $14.

To order or for more information, persons may call Lynn Wilson at 246-6306 or e-mail cwilson1@tds.net

The product will be delivered to the Robe-Ann Park the week of Nov. 17 (exact date TBA) and may be picked up between 3:30 and 6 p.m.
