Banner Graphic: What's different about being a senior this year.

Ethan Boyd: Being a leader. Just being out there and making sure everyone is focused and doing what they are supposed to do. It's different.

Banner Graphic: What's your favorite thing about football.

Ethan Boyd: Just being out there in the moment. Especially running the ball. It's just that feeling of getting yards and moving forward. Having everybody there helping on the way.

Banner Graphic: Who are your best friends on the team?

Ethan Boyd: All the seniors. We've all been together since I moved here in the fifth grade. We've just been hanging out and playing football together.

BG: What can sports teach you about life?

EB: They teach you how to work hard and to work for that goal at the end. It shows you the struggles along the way and how to overcome challenges.

BG: Who inspires you in your life to do well.

EB: My dad's always been there to talk to me after the games and give me pointers. We just talk about it a lot. How I can do better at what I'm doing and help other people do better.

BG: What was your favorite memory on the team?

EB: Last year at Homecoming against Turkey Run. I made a big 50-yard run. That really changed my aspect of what I needed to do to help the team. I knew where I could make everybody better and where I could contribute.

BG: What are your goals after high school?

EB: I hope to go to college. I'm not sure where. I'm actually hoping to play somewhere in college. It just depends where I get accepted. I'm want to study something with engineering. My family's been into engineering. I like how we solve problems and build stuff.
