County Jail

Several people were booked into the Putnam County Jail recently.

* At 9:42 p.m. on Thursday, Fount Thomas Brock, 33, Bainbridge, was charged with public intoxication.

* At 12:10 a.m. on Friday, Leslie Marie Cope, 24, Roachdale, was arrested for possession of methamphetamines, possession of paraphernalia and operating while intoxicated.

At 5 a.m., Brandi Leigh Means, 27, Cloverdale, was charged with maintaining a common nuisance, possession of methamphentamines and sale of methamphentamines.

At 6 a.m., Gary Lee Means, 43, Cloverdale, was arrested for maintaining a common nuisance, possession of methamphentamines and sale of methamphentamines.

City Police

Two recent citations were reported by Greencastle City Police officers.

-- At 6:46 p.m. Thursday, Lance Hoppingarner, 32, Brazil, was stopped at Berry and Locust streets and ticketed by Reserve Officer Jes Seipel for having an expired license plate (June 2013).

-- At 10:44 p.m. Wednesday, Chase Doan, 22, Greencastle, was cited for an infraction of driving with a suspended license after he was stopped by Officer Kyle Lee at Indianapolis Road and Fifth Street.
