'Poetic Journey' to stop at DePauw
Brick Street Poetry Inc. and DePauw University's Janet Prindle Institute for Ethics will present "A Poetic Journey Through Urban America" on Nov. 8 as part of the Spirit and Place Festival.
The program will feature readings from the poetry anthology "Urban Voices: 51 Poems from 51 Poets," which explores the relationship between the city and the poet.
The keynote speaker for the event is internationally-known poet and Rumi translator, Coleman Barks, who is one of the poets featured in the anthology.
The readings and keynote speech are free, but online registration is required.
Lunch with the poets is $10 and must be ordered through online registration.
