Alva Clayton Cash

Alva Clayton Cash, 87, died Oct. 23, 2014 at Granite Gate Senior Living Community in Prescott, Ariz.

Born in Putnam County, Ind., on Oct. 11, 1927, he was a longtime resident of Cloverdale and also a resident of Hooper, Neb., before moving to Arizona.

Alva is survived by his wife of 66 years, Martha (Webster), and their sons, Mike and wife Joni, Paul and wife Rhonda, and Phil and husband David May, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Born to Clayton and Stella (Lisby), he was the youngest of three children, and sister Carol (Macy) survives.

His brother Arthur preceded him in death.

There will be a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 at New Providence Baptist Church.
