Josephine Viola Ridgway

Josephine Viola Ridgway, 84, of Greencastle, passed away at her residence Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014.

She was born June 19, 1930 in Indianapolis. She was the daughter of the late William C. and Mary V. (Lambert) Bowman. She married Louis Ridgway Jr. on June 27, 1948 and he survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons Louis Ridgway III and wife Betty of Greencastle and Luther Ridgway and wife Toni of Greencastle; daughters Debra Poynter and husband Ray of Greencastle, Mary Poole of Greencastle and Talytha Tincher and husband Keith of Greencastle; and brothers Fred Bowman and Marvin Bowman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Diane Jo Ridgway and a grandchild.

Funeral Services will be Friday, Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time. Condolences may be sent to the family at cds@whitakerfuneralhome.net.
