Celebrating 50 Years

At the recent Purdue Extension Putnam County annual meeting celebrating a century of Extension nationwide, Putnam County boasted having 50 years of living 4-H Youth Educators. In attendance that night were (from left) Jerry Williams, Darrel Thomas, Laura Lee Baugh, Charlie Felkner and Mark Evans. Felkner started in 1964 and worked two years. Williams started in 1967 and worked to 1971 when Thomas started and worked until 2001. Baugh worked 2001-2008 and Evans has been in the position since 2009. Except Felkner, all of the other educators reside in Putnam County.
