Thursday, November 27, 2014

Cloverdale Middle School seventh-grade teacher Katie Mosley (center) was recently awarded a $400 MAC grant from McDonald's of Central Indiana. Mosley will be using the money to purchase comic books and craft materials in order to have students create their own comics and display them at school. McDonald's has offered MAC Grants to help teachers Make Activities Count for their students. The goal of the grants is to provide funding to teachers for interesting and educational projects. This year, more than 40 middle school teachers in 33 central Indiana counties will receive MAC Grants. Also present for the awarding of the grant were Cloverdale Middle School teacher Mark Wheeler (left) and Cloverdale McDonald's Manager LaDonna Saul.
