Frank M. Wilson Jr.

Frank M. Wilson Jr., 96, of Ladoga, passed away Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014 at the Indiana Veterans Home in West Lafayette.

Frank was born on Sept. 1, 1918 at Russellville to Frank and Ezia Lorene Newman Wilson Sr.

Frank graduated from Russellville High School and then served in the U.S. Navy for seven years.

He was a typesetter for R.R. Donnelley Printing in Crawfordsville.

He was a member of the Russellville Community Church and a former member of the Russellville Legion.

On Sept. 25, 1948 he married Jessie Lorain Smithson at Russellville, and she preceded him in death Nov. 7, 2005.

He is survived by two sons, Chris (Susan) Wilson of Whitestown, Mitch (Melinda) Wilson of Ladoga, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one sister, Ruth Mallery of Dundee, Fla.

He was preceded by his parents, wife and sister Beverly Garrett.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3 in Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Ladoga. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Pastor Joe Lovell will officiate.

There will be a private graveside for the family at Hebron Cemetery.
