Immigration topic for Monday's Defenders of Liberty meeting

Immigration has been at the forefront of topics of discussion in Washington, D.C. in recent weeks, and the topic will be featured locally Monday, Dec. 8 when the Greencastle Defenders of Liberty conduct their monthly meeting.

The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Dixie Chopper Business Center at the Putnam County Airport, 102 Ballard Lane, Greencastle.

Speaker for the evening's program will be Angelina Fielding, an historian, writer, artist, illustrator, speaker and educator.

Immigrated from India, she now lives in Indiana. Fielding teaches students about America's founding documents and is currently researching the papers from the founding generation for her latest book.
