At seven years old, Olivia McKenna (right) shows off her talents in the 2011 production of "A Beef and Boards Christmas," acting and playing piano as part of the annual Indianapolis dinner theater production. Now 10, McKenna will present a special performance Sunday to close out the 2014 Roachdale Music Series.

ROACHDALE -- The North Putnam High School Auditorium will host "Christmas with Olivia," featuring a concert by 10-year-old Olivia McKenna on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 3 p.m.

McKenna's impressive performance credentials are only accentuated by her age.

"Olivia McKenna has a full resume of experience entertaining her audiences with her musical talent," music series president Joe Buser said of the young performer.

McKenna has appeared in the 2011 and 2012 Indianapolis productions of "A Beef and Boards Christmas" and played the title role in musical "Annie" at Myers Dinner Theater in Hillsboro in 2013.

"Christmas with Olivia" is an evening that has been specially prepared by McKenna and will be the final 2014 concert put on by the Roachdale Music Series, though plans for the series 2015 are already under way.

Referring to the previous momentum of the rib and blues festival, Buser cited support from people in the community and surrounding areas for the ongoing success of the series.

"The support we get from area counties, including Montgomery, is encouraging to our group," Buser said.

Tickets for "Christmas with Olivia" will be available at the door and will be $10 for adults and $5 for students.

Donations to help with the continuation of the series will be accepted.

The Roachdale Music Series is sponsored by the Roachdale Revitalization Cooperative Alliance (RRCA).

Refreshments will be served during intermission.

Persons may contact the RRCA online at www.roachdalerca.com with questions about the event.
