Gary Brent Stephens

Gary Brent Stephens, 72, passed peacefully after an extended illness on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014.

Born in Brazil, he was the son of Harold and Betty (Norris) Stephens and grew to adulthood in Greencastle.

Known for his wit, keen sense of humor and artistic talent with pen, brush and spray gun, Gary was an avid auto enthusiast.

He served in the United States Air Force.

Gary married his soul mate Jennifer Clark of Fillmore in 1963, and they resided in Kissimmee Fla.

He is survived by his wife, beloved son Brent, daughter-in-law Maria and granddaughter Alejandra in St. Petersburg, Fla., as well as uncle Robert Siner, aunt Sue Ell, numerous cousins and his "Clark Family."

A Celebration of Life is planned next spring in Indiana. The family is grateful for the love and prayers during Gary's final months.
