The Lady Tiger Cubs opened the game with a scoring frenzy, leading 14-4 at the end of the first quarter. Danville battled back and cut the lead to only four points at halftime.

Greencastle clung to a one-point, third-quarter lead and it looked to be a close finish.

Greencastle then had a four-point lead with 15 seconds to go and Danville hit a bucket at the buzzer to narrow the gap, but the Lady Tiger Cubs emerged with the 40-38 victory.

The Lady Tiger Cubs had a balanced scoring attack led by Mia Stevens, she led all scorers with 11 points. Brynne Shuee with 10 points, Gracie Smith with 7 points, and Grace Paul and Marin Nally each adding 6 points.
