Lolita A. Bernhardt, 95, of Clayton, died Friday, Dec. 19, 2014.

Lolita was born Sept. 9, 1919 in Terre Haute to Charles E. and Lena (Latta) Killion.

She was a graduate of Glenn High School in Seelyville.

Lolita married Harvey Bernhardt in 1946, and he preceded her in death in 2002.

She was a homemaker, and had been employed at Mallory Capacitor Corp. in Greencastle for 25 years.

Lolita was a self-taught pianist, having played for several local churches over 75 years, as well as being the organist at Belleville United Methodist Church, of which she was a member for 40 years,

She was a current member of the Hazelwood Christian Church.

Survivors include her children, Bruce D. (Susan) Bernhardt, Coatesville, Arlene (Malcolm) Roach, Gilbertsville, Ky., and Beverly Wilkins, Avon; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27 at Hazelwood Christian Church with visitation there 4-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26.

Burial will be in Clayton Cemetery.

Weaver and Randolph Funeral Home, Clayton, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
