James A. Graf

James A. Graf, 51, of Greencastle, passed away Saturday, Dec.13, 2014.

Jim was born on Feb. 17, 1963 in Cheektowaga, N.Y., son of the late Alvin and Virginia (Martin) Graf.

He attended Our Lady and Help of Christians.

Jim is survived by his loving companion Marcia Voege; dear friend Robert Derringer; sisters Patricia (Jenny) Graf and Barbara Koczent; brothers Edward (Sandra) Graf and William Graf, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Bonnie Graf and brother Alvin (Korky) Graf.

For the past several years he made Greencastle his home.

Jim was a dreamer. He was a publisher, designer and author. He opened My County Publishing, Copy Center and the Greencastle Packing and Shipping company.

Through the years he designed and printed magazines, business signage, menus, advertisements, web pages and videos.

He reached out with his heart in many ways through his county magazines.

His heart ached when it came to special children, and tried to help with Hope's Way as much as possible. He was always there to help anyone.

Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial service will be held at a future date.
