Shirley E. Parker

Shirley E. Parker, 83, of Roachdale, passed away at her daughter's residence on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014.

She was born on Feb. 9, 1931 at Indianapolis to Charles Edward and Collinette Walters Garr.

Shirley retired from Crestline Windows in Ladoga after 29 years as a Packaging Dept. supervisor.

She was married to Max H. Parker on April 4, 1949. They were married 64 years. Max preceded her in death.

Her survivors include children Steve (Jewel) Parker of Cumberland Furnace, Tenn., Kathy (James) Cromwell of Roachdale, Kevin (Connie) Parker of Roachdale, and Lori Cating and Rick McCloud of Ladoga; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Judy Stell of Camby.

She was preceded in death by husband Max Parker, mother Collinette Dezz, sister Donna J. Pratt and brother Michael Garr.

According to her wishes she will be cremated and there will be no services or visitation.

There will be a private celebration of her life for family and friends at an as yet undetermined time.
