Shirley F. Patrick

Shirley F. Patrick, 87, Cloverdale, passed away on December 27, 2014 at

Asbury Towers Retirement Community in Greencastle.

She was born on July 3, 1927 in Clayton, Indiana and was the daughter of the late Archie Patrick and Garnet (Vermillion) Patrick.

She was a retired music teacher from the East Chicago school system.

She enjoyed reading and trading recipes with friends. She was a member of the Amity Baptist Church and a long-time member of the former Walnut Chapel Church.

She is survived by her dear friends and caregivers Donald and Ruth Buis; Quincy, Phillip and Carla Stierwalt of Coatesville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James Frank Patrick and Bessie R. (Brown) Patrick and her

maternal grandparents Joel Samuel Vermillion and Eva E. (Rector)Vermillion.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014 from 11 a.m. until service time.

Interment will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery.
