Seventh-grade Clover boys beat Monrovia at home 34-26

The seventh-grade Cloverdale boys' basketball team benefited from Kyle Thomas' 15 points to get the win on its home floor. Nolan Kelly scored seven points while Mark Gill added six. Clayton Maynor, Trey Dickenson and Blake Meek each netted two points.

"It was a very hard fought game by both teams," Clover coach Billy Boyette said. "There was a lot of hustle and hard play."

Cloverdale's next match is the seventh grade Tourney on Saturday.
