Ronald 'Ronnie' R. Kendall

Ronald "Ronnie" R. Kendall, 70, of Greenfield, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015 at his home.

He was born Nov. 2, 1944 to the late Herbert and Anna Mae (Neeley) Kendall.

Ronnie graduated from Fillmore High School in 1963, was a driver for USF Holland and with Teamsters Local 135 for 29 years prior to his retirement in 2007.

He served in the U.S. Army during peace time and served again in the National Guard for eight years.

Ronnie was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Mohawk, he loved to play golf with his sons and brothers, fishing, playing the guitar and singing, but most of all enjoying his children and his grandkids.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Sandra (Hogan) Kendall of Greenfield, whom he married Aug. 31, 1973; children Dawn Kendall-Mapes, Toby Kendall, Lanny (Michelle LaFlower) Kendall, Lenny Kendall and Tonya (Bob) Linville; son-in-law Michael Mapes; brothers Phillip Kendall, Charles Kendall and Rodney Kendall; sister Phyllis (Jean) Soloman; and grandchildren Amber Guffey, Jacob Guffey, Caleb Guffey, Isaiah Linville, Christopher Mapes, Garrett Mapes, Jayden Kendall, Chase Kendall and Tristan Kendall.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Wayne Kendall and Michael Kendall.

Friends may call 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 W. Main St., Greenfield, IN 46140.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
