Greenbacks for Pink

Thursday, February 5, 2015
The Greencastle High School girls' and boys' basketball teams, along with the GHS cheerleaders, hosted a breast cancer awareness night on Jan. 16. The teams were able to raise $766.32 to be donated to the Attack for the Cure, a fund that helps women from Putnam County who have a financial-based need to be able to have a mammogram screening. The fund was set up by Greencastle volleyball coaches Trish Lowe and Deborah Miller in 2009. Presenting the check to Miller (second from left) at the Saturday, Jan. 31 GHS boys' game are Tiger Cub players Jessica Lenihan (left), Callan Taylor, Lauren Bridgewater and Madison Trout.
