Valentine workshop set for Wednesday at Bob Bottoms Center

Want to make a valentine for that secret someone? Need one for mom or dad?

Then join the Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department for an afternoon of fun and make a valentine. Create your own or be guided by Park Department intern and DePauw University student Maribel Diaz.

The Create a Valentine Workshop is set for 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11 at the Bob Bottoms Center (formerly the Family Youth Community Development Program Center), 605 Crown St. It is just across Crown Street from the Ridpath School parking lot.

The Park Department has emptied its supply closet for this program so cardstock, construction paper, stickers, glue, envelopes and more will be provided.

The program is designed for youngsters in kindergarten through fifth grade but all are welcome.
