JORDYN C. PITTS of Greencastle has been named to the Anderson University dean's list for the 2014 fall semester.

To be named to the dean's list, a student must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Anderson University is a private, four-year, Christian, liberal arts institution.

Four local students were recently honored by Trine University for academic achievement in the fall 2014 semester.

JUSTIN FRANCHVILLE, an chemical engineering major, of Coatesville, and ROBBIE URTON, a math education major, of Reelsville, were both named to the president's list.

To be included on the president's list, a student must be registered for a minimum of 15 credit hours and earn a 3.75 or higher grade point average.

Additionally, a pair of local students made the School of Professional Studies dean's list: ROBERT PHILLIPS, a management major of Greencastle, and DUSTIN SUTHERLIN, a management major of Fillmore.

Trine University, an internationally recognized, private, co-educational, residential institution, offers associate, baccalaureate, and master degrees in programs to students in engineering, mathematics, science, informatics, business, teacher education, communication, criminal justice, golf management, social sciences and various other fields of study.

Franklin College has announced its dean's list for the fall 2014 semester. Students named to the dean's list have achieved academic distinction by earning a 3.5 grade point average or above.

CODY DONOVAN WARREN, a junior, is the son of Ronald Warren and Tricia Warren, both of Reelsville.

Founded in 1834, Franklin College is a residential four-year undergraduate liberal arts institution with a scenic, wooded campus located 20 minutes south of downtown Indianapolis.

AARON PARKER, of Cloverdale, has been named to the chief executive officer's list for the 2014 Fall Semester at Olney Central College. Students named to the CEO's list have attained a grade point average of 3.90 or higher, on a 4.0 scale.
