Thursday, March 5, 2015

Senior Tommy Fernitz and sophomore Luke Lattner were selected to represent the DePauw men's basketball team on the All-North Coast Athletic Conference teams as voted on by league coaches.

Fernitz is making his second-straight appearance on the first-team, averaging 15.0 points per game with a team-high 51 blocks. His 60.8 shooting percentage is best on the team and ranks third in the NCAC. The senior big man leads the conference with 8.5 rebounds per game and he currently tops the DePauw career list with 142 blocks and a career field goal percentage of 59.5%.

Lattner's second-team recognition is his first all-conference honor of his career. The sophomore guard is second on the team, averaging 12.3 points per game with 2.0 rebounds per game. He has a 40.9 shooting percentage and his 37 made threes rank second on DePauw. Lattner scored a career-high 36 points in the Tigers' 75-58 win over Wabash earlier this January.

The duo helped DePauw capture its first NCAC Tournament Title, sending the Tigers to the NCAA Division III Champion for the first time since 2007.
