August 15, 1962 - March 5, 2015

He was born in Indianapolis, Ind., Aug. 15, 1962. The son of Robert E. and Ethel Rose (Baughman) Baker.

Bob graduated from Cloverdale High School with the class of 1981. Following high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served his country for three years before being honorably discharged in 1985. He has worked in various capacities at Putnamville Correctional Facility for the past 29 years. He was currently working in maintenance and had retired from K-9 along with his dog Alex.

Bob loved spending time with his family and riding his Harley Davidson. He also enjoyed fishing, shooting and working his dog.

He is survived by his wife Kim of Reelsville; father Robert Baker Sr. and companion Shirley Allen; son Chrisitan Baker and wife Abbey of Norfolk, Va.; daughter Johanna Baker of Brazil; four step-children Joshua O'Brien and wife Kailey of Brownsburg, Ind., Casey Rossok and husband Ryan of Greencastle, Shelby Gossage and fiancé Jeffrey Shaw of Clay City and Danielle Gossage and Alex Nelson of Terre Haute; step grandchildren Kaiden O'Brien, Payton Rossok and Ryder Rossok; sister Melissa Sue Baker and Ted Baugh of Kokomo, Ind.; father-in-law Gary Flora of Terre Haute; K-9 Partner and companion Alex as well as several extended family members, co-workers and friends.

Memorial services will be at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 East National Ave. Brazil, Ind., Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 7 p.m. with Pastor Donnie Watson officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home, Tuesday, from 4 p.m. until time of services. At the family's request, donations may be made to the House of Hope 5525 W. U.S. Highway 40 Brazil, Ind. 47834.
