Why a four-leaf clover? What is a Blarney Stone? Who is St Patrick? Why is green the color of the day?

Those and other questions will be addressed when the Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department hosts a St. Patrick's Day event Tuesday, March 17 at the Putnam County Public Library, 103 E. Poplar St., Greencastle.

Tuesday's free 4-5:30 p.m. event will feature crafts and activities are designed for all youth.

The program will include crafts, games and stories about Saint Patrick's Day. Treats and drinks will be provided.
